Ferrari 458 Italia at Kroymans

The 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 of the Ferrari 458 Italia delivers 570 hp at 9,000 rpm. With 127 hp per liter, the engine set a new benchmark for naturally aspirated production engines upon its introduction. The 458 Italia was the last Ferrari V8 berlinetta with a naturally aspirated engine before the 488 GTB made the switch to turbo technology.

The exhaust system of the 458 Italia was developed to emphasize the character of the naturally aspirated V8. As the engine climbs toward 9,000 rpm, the sound transforms from relatively understated to an intense, high-revving V8 scream.

The aerodynamics of the Ferrari 458 Italia were developed to minimize drag while simultaneously generating downforce. Flexible winglets in the front bumper deform at higher speeds, while the flat underbody and rear diffuser optimize airflow beneath the car.

The 458 Italia introduced a new design language with clean lines, compact proportions, and a low, wide silhouette. The single front opening, air intakes behind the doors, and the three centrally located exhaust pipes give the car its recognizable character.

The interior of the Ferrari 458 Italia combines classic elements with a redesigned layout. The rev counter takes center stage, while all essential controls are positioned on the steering wheel. The aluminum center tunnel houses the F1 gear selector, Launch Control, and the transmission mode button.
